Mission Statement

Provide security and protection of critical infrastructure, personnel, visitors, and property through a risk-based, layered approach to security that includes physical security measures, employee education and training, and law enforcement services.

The TVA Police & Physical Security organization is a law enforcement / security management operation that is continually evolving to address the risks facing today's energy industry. It provides security and protection of critical infrastructure, personnel, visitors, and property through physical security measures and strategic police patrols and surveillance.

New and increasingly sophisticated threats are facing the energy industry. To address those and to help TVA continue serving the public, TVA Police & Physical Security is focusing its operations on prevention, training, intelligence gathering, and technology. This requires using our personnel strategically, taking advantage of new technologies, and developing a highly trained workforce.

Community Feedback

TVA Police & Physical Security welcomes comments on its performance, officers' attitudes and behavior toward citizens, community concerns over safety and security at TVA public use areas and campgrounds, and suggestions for improvement.
