TVA conducts environmental reviews in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), which requires federal agencies to consider the effects of their proposals on the human environment before decisions are made. Active projects are listed below. Information related to past projects that have been completed, deferred, or canceled may be found in the TVA NEPA archive.
