Across TVA

Imagine the possibilities

cfc logoEach year, thousands of people benefit from the generous contributions employees make through the Combined Federal Campaign. CFC campaigns are held annually across TVA to give federal employees an opportunity to contribute to charitable health and human-service organizations.

Here are the dates and chairs of the 2008 CFCs:

Chattanooga-Area CFC
Sept. 10 – late October
Van Wardlaw, executive vice president of Power Supply & Fuels, is chair of the 21-county Greater Chattanooga CFC, which spans East Tennessee and parts of Alabama, Georgia and North Carolina.

Tennessee Regional CFC
(formerly Nashville and Middle Tennessee CFC)
Sept. 15 – Nov. 14
Jim Keiffer, senior vice president of Marketing, is the TVA Chair for the Tennessee Regional CFC, which serves Nashville and surrounding areas, including Gallatin, Hartsville and New Johnsonville.

Muscle Shoals CFC
Sept. 29 – Nov. 7
Ron Williams, vice president of Land & Water Stewardship in the Office of Environment & Research, is chairing the campaign. The Muscle Shoals Area CFC covers Colbert, Franklin and Lauderdale counties in North Alabama.

Smoky Mountain Region CFC
Sept. 19 – mid-November
Janet Herrin, senior vice president of River Operations, is chairperson of the Smoky Mountain Region CFC, which covers 26 counties in East Tennessee, two in North Carolina and one each in Kentucky and Virginia.
