The draft environmental impact statement examines the potential effects of continuing to manage public lands on Pickwick Reservoir under the existing 1981 plan or adopting one of two proposed alternatives. Changes proposed in the alternatives are based on technical staff evaluations, reservoir data collected, and public input. The alternatives under consideration seek to integrate land and water resources protection needs and balance competing resource uses, while providing for optimum public benefit from use of the land.
