TVA, Agencies To Update Public on Kingston Ash Recovery

WHAT:

The Tennessee Valley Authority and other agencies will update the public on the progress of the Kingston Ash Recovery Project and long-term monitoring plans.

 

 

WHO:

Representatives of TVA, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation and the Roane County Community Advisory Group.

 

 

WHEN:

Thursday, May 30
5:30 p.m. EDT (until 7 p.m.)

 

 

WHERE:

Roane County High School
Auditorium, Building B
540 W. Cumberland St.
Kingston, Tenn.

 

 

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The Long-Term Monitoring Plan and other documents associated with the project will be posted in the Administrative Record at http://www.tva.gov/kingston/index.htm. The documents also are located at the Kingston and Harriman libraries.

 

DIRECTIONS:  From Interstate 40, take Exit 352, bear right at N. Kentucky Street into Kingston and right on West Cumberland Street about 0.1 mile to high school.
