TVA To Temporarily Close Road Across Wilson Dam

MUSCLE SHOALS, Ala. – TVA will close Reservation Road across Wilson Dam from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. for another month to complete general maintenance work at the dam that began in July.
The road will be closed through Aug. 31. It will reopen during evening hours.
TVA is the nation’s largest public power provider and is completely self-financed. TVA provides power to large industries and 158 power distributors that serve approximately 8.5 million consumers in seven southeastern states. TVA also manages the Tennessee River and its tributaries to provide multiple benefits, including flood damage reduction, navigation, water quality and recreation.
