Nashville and Middle Tennessee Combined Federal Campaign Announces 2006 ChairSeptember 7, 2006 NASHVILLE, Tenn. - TVA Senior Vice President of Marketing Jim Keiffer will serve as the Local Federal Coordinating Committee chairman of the 2006 Nashville and Middle Tennessee Combined Federal Campaign, which is held annually to give federal employees an opportunity to contribute to charitable, health and human service organizations. It is the second consecutive year that Keiffer has served as coordinating chairman, along with Campaign Chairman Danny Boykin, U.S. Postal Service senior plant manager in Nashville. The campaign kickoff is scheduled for Sept. 18. The Nashville and Middle Tennessee campaign covers 35 counties. This year’s theme is “Every One of Us, Be the Miracle.” Federal agencies will complete their campaigns in November. “For the past three years, the Nashville and Middle Tennessee CFC has raised more than $1.1 million annually for local and national charitable agencies,” Keiffer said. “More than 2,000 charitable agencies participate and represent local, national, and international agencies. There are many federal employees who help coordinate the campaign each year, and it takes everyone contributing to make the miracles happen.” More information about this year’s campaign is available at www.nashvillecfc.org. TVA is the nation’s largest public power provider and is completely self-financed with revenues of $7.8 billion in 2005.
