with a check for $5,000 to help strengthen the quality of technical education at

applicants to TVA’s craft and apprentice programs.
“Northwest-Shoals is excited about developing this new initiative with
TVA,” said NW-SCC President Dr. Humphrey Lee. “With this generous donation
we look forward to being able to better help students maximize their performance
through improving workplace skills especially with the Edison Electric Exam.”
“TVA is glad to be able to support the Shoals community and strengthen
our partnership with Northwest Shoals Community College," said TVA Vice
President of Research and Technology Applications Ron Williams. "We are
contributing funds for the development of a preparation class for the Edison
Electric Exam that will help students adequately prepare for future career
opportunities.”
