Anne Davis of Nashville, Tennessee, is the managing Attorney for the Nashville Office of the Southern Environmental Law Center, a 26-year-old not-for-profit environmental focused law firm.
Davis practiced civil and criminal litigation for Bass, Berry & Sims and also Neal & Hartwell law firm, where she became a partner. She was an adjunct professor and lecturer in law at Vanderbilt Law School for more than two decades and has served as chair of the Nashville Bar Association Pro Bono Committee, and chair of the Tennessee Bar Association Criminal Justice Section. Davis is a member of the Harry Phillips Chapter of the American Inns of Court, and is an active volunteer serving on numerous boards in and around the Nashville area. In addition, she served on the Mayor’s Task Force on Environmental Sustainability and was appointed by Governor Bredesen to the Tennessee Heritage Trust Foundation.
Davis holds an undergraduate degree from Denison University and a J.D. degree from Vanderbilt University.
