Permanent Easement for Effluent Line and Outfall
TVA is considering granting a permanent easement over about 1 acre of land on Kentucky Reservoir at Tennessee River mile 94.6 (right bank) in Humphries County, Tenn. The City of Waverly has requested land rights for the installation, operation, and maintenance of an effluent line and outfall from its existing wastewater treatment plant. TVA is seeking public comment as part of an environmental assessment (EA) prior to deciding on the easement.
TVA is interested in receiving comments on the potential for the proposed action to affect the environment or historic properties and to identify any other issues associated with this proposal. The comments will be used to identify issues to be addressed in the EA for the proposed action of granting an easement on the property.
Any comments received, including names and addresses, will become part of the administrative record and will be available for public inspection. All written comments on this proposed action must be received on or before March 24, 2014. Written comments may be mailed to the address below or e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
