James H. Fyke

Jim Fyke is Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. He was previously the department’s Deputy Commissioner for State Parks and Conservation.

Before that Fyke served for 39 years with the Metro Nashville Board of Parks and Recreation, including 25 years as director. Fyke is a member of the boards of the Nashville Sports Council, the Nashville Predators Foundation, and the Charles Davis Foundation. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in business management.
