George B. Kitchens

George Kitchens is the general manager and chief executive officer of Joe Wheeler Electric Membership Corporation in Trinity, Alabama. He was previously employed with utilities in Alaska and West Virginia.

Kitchens serves on the board of the Tennessee Valley Public Power Association, the Alabama Rural Electric Association, the Morgan County Economic Development Association, and the Decatur-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce. He serves as president of the North Alabama Public Power Association and the North Alabama Industrial Development Association, and is a member of the Decatur Rotary Club. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Mississippi State University.
