Giving Back to the Community: Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee

MARCH 8, 2017—Several TVA and Johnson City Power Board employees participated in the Second Harvest mobile food pantry at John Sevier Center in Johnson City last week. The Mobile Food Pantry provides regular distributions of food and groceries in the region reaching thousands of people in need. “We are grateful for the volunteer spirit of TVA and the JCPB employees,” said Second Harvest’s Community Relations Manager Katie Prendergast. “TVA and JCPB have been continuous advocates and supporters of the mission of the Food Bank.”
