TVA To Hold Public Meeting in Nashville on Draft Integrated Resource Plan

April 17, 2015

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Valley Authority will host a public meeting in Nashville on Tuesday, April 21, about the newly released draft of its 2015 Integrated Resource Plan, a guide to TVA’s energy planning decisions for the next 20 years.

The meeting, the sixth of seven TVA will offer around the Valley, will be held at the Loew’s Vanderbilt Hotel, Kirkland/Calhoun Room, 2100 West End Ave.

The session will be from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. CDT.

The IRP and associated Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement is a study of how TVA might meet energy and capacity needs in a variety of future conditions. Currently, TVA is in the draft phase of the study and is holding public meetings to answer questions and obtain feedback on the results.

An additional meeting will be held April 22 in Bowling Green, Ky.

The TVA staff will present its recommendations on a final version of the plan to the TVA board of directors in August.

Public comments and questions may be submitted on the project website or by email at
