TVA’s Regional Energy Resource Council to Meet in Knoxville
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Members of the public interested in the current and future direction of the Tennessee Valley Authority’s energy-related activities are invited to attend an upcoming public working session of the Regional Energy Resource Council in Knoxville on Wednesday, Nov. 29.
The 20-member RERC includes representatives from throughout the Tennessee Valley and advises TVA leadership on the management and development of energy-related issues and priorities.
Topics scheduled for discussion during the session include TVA’s rates and finances and energy efficiency projects for low-income residents.
The working session takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. EST at the Hilton Knoxville, 501 West Church Ave. in downtown Knoxville.
The public is invited to share their views and opinions directly with the RERC members during an hour-long public comment session beginning at 1:15 p.m. EST. Anyone who wishes to speak should register at the door between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. EST.
