Donnie Holland is Commissioner of Kentucky State Parks. He lives in Cadiz, Ky. Prior to this appointment he was General Manager of Wabash National Trailer Centers and President of Benson International (trailer manufacturer). He also held leadership positions at American National Rubber and Johnson Controls.
He holds a BS in Business Management and a MBA from Murray State University and is a certified industrial engineer. Holland is a graduate of 2016 Class of Leadership Kentucky, serves on the boards of West Kentucky Workforce Investment Board, Federal Advisory Board for Land Between the Lakes, County Judge’s 20/20 Visioning Committee and is an Eagle Ambassador - support for 101st Airborne. Additionally, Holland served in the army for eight years including active and reserves where he achieved the rank of Captain.
An ardent believer in a strong education system and civic involvement, Holland has served on numerous regional business and institutional boards most recently a member of the Trigg County School Board. He is a long-time volunteer with Friends of Lake Barkley State Park and Land Between the Lakes.
