Newport Utilities offers electric, broadband, water and wastewater services in Cocke County as well as parts of Sevier and Jefferson counties in East Tennessee. Incorporated in 1940, NU today has more than 21,400 business and residential customers and maintains about 1,500 miles of transmission line.
