The North Georgia Electric Membership Corporation serves Catoosa, Floyd, Gordon, Murray, Chattooga, Walker and Whitfield counties in northern Georgia. Incorporated in 1936, NGEMC today has about 98,000 members and maintains more than 6,300 miles of transmission line. The company partners with TVA to bring its customers the energy efficiency program EnergyRight Solutions®.
