The Oak Ridge Electric Department serves portions of Roane and Anderson counties in East Tennessee. Incorporated in 1936, ORED today has more than 15,200 members and maintains nearly 270 miles of transmission line. It partners with TVA to offer its customers energy efficiency programs such as EnergyRight Solutions.
