The Smithville Electric System serves the city limits of Smithville in Middle Tennessee. Incorporated in 1969, the company today has more than 2,600 business and residential customers and maintains more than 85 miles of transmission line. SES works with TVA to offer its customers heat pump loans through the energy efficiency program EnergyRight Solutions.
