The Tallahatchie Valley Electric Power Association serves Grenada, Panola, Tallahatchie, Tate, Yalobusha, Quitman and Lafayette counties in central Mississippi. Incorporated in 1937, TVEPA today has more than 27,000 business and residential members and maintains nearly 4,400 miles of transmission line. It partners with TVA to bring its customers energy efficiency programs such as  Residential Services, as well as the green power program Green Power Switch.
