The Clinton Utilities Board offers electric service to parts of Anderson, Knox, Campbell, Morgan, Roane and Union counties in East Tennessee, as well as water and wastewater services to residents of Clinton, Tenn., and members of the Claxton community. Founded in 1939, it has upwards of 29,000 customers and manages more than 1,500 miles of transmission line.
