Dayton Electric Department, City of

Incorporated in 1935, the City of Dayton Electric Department serves the city limits of Dayton, Tenn., as well as portions of Rhea and Bledsoe counties. It has more than 10,400 business and residential customers and maintains more than 630 miles of transmission line.
