Holston Electric Cooperative

The Holston Electric Cooperative (HEC) has a mission "to provide safe, dependable electric service to our member-owners at a reasonable cost." It serves Hawkins and Hamblen counties in East Tennessee. Incorporated in 1940, the company today has more than 30,100 business and residential customers and maintains more than 2,000 miles of transmission line. HolstonConnect, a subsidiary of HEC, offers internet, telephone and video through a broadband fiber network.
