Sweetwater Utilities Board

Sweetwater Utilities Board's mission is "to meet and supply the demands of a rapidly growing area by providing reliable, friendly, competitively priced services to our customers" by providing power to Monroe, McMinn, Loudon and Roane counties in East Tennessee. Incorporated in 1939, the company today has nearly 9,000 business and residential customers and maintains more than 800 miles of transmission line. It partners with TVA to offer its customers energy efficiency programs such as EnergyRight Solutions.
