Tri-County Electric Membership Corporation

Tri-County Electric Membership Corporation serves Clay, Macon, Sumner and Trousdale counties in Middle Tennessee, as well as Allen, Cumberland, Metcalfe and Monroe counties and surrounding areas in Kentucky. Incorporated in 1936, STEMC today has more than 49,000 business and residential members and maintains nearly 4,000 miles of transmission line. Tri-County Electric partners with TVA to bring its customers energy efficiency programs such as  Residential Services, as well as the green power program Green Power Switch.
