A footbridge from the parking lot below the dam leads to Osceola Island. Early in the morning or late in the evening are the best times to sight waterfowl, deer and other wildlife. This trail is on the South Holston Dam Reservation, which is located about 5 miles south of Bristol, Tennessee. Take Hwy. 421 south to Emmett Road.
