ROGERSVILLE, Ala. – A roadway lighting improvement project will force traffic restrictions on Alabama Highway 101 over the Tennessee Valley Authority’s Wheeler Dam near Rogersville, Ala., beginning on Monday, Nov. 7.

Work is scheduled between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. CST on Monday through Thursday each week until Dec. 16, weather permitting. The southbound lane of Highway 101 will be affected. and will block portions of the southbound lane over the bridge.

For the safety of the public and the lighting crew, police officers will direct traffic around the work area, but delays are likely, especially during peak travel times. All lanes will reopen each Friday and over the weekend.
