Nottely and Blue Ridge Bridge Closure in August
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The Tennessee Valley Authority will be conducting road maintenance and inspection work at the Nottely spillway bridge and Blue Ridge auxiliary spillway bridge this August. TVA encourages all motorists to use caution in the construction zone and follow flagmen or traffic lights as appropriate.
Work locations:
- Nottely Spillway Bridge (State Route 325), Union County, Ga. — One lane traffic from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, August 6 through 10.
- Blue Ridge Auxiliary Spillway Bridge (Old Highway 76), Fannin County, Ga. — One lane traffic from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, August 13 through 15.
Public safety is TVA’s top priority. As a result, TVA performs regular maintenance and repair through projects like this to ensure the safe operations of its dams and roadways — which have resulted in TVA’s bridge condition ratings exceeding the national average.
TVA appreciates the public’s understanding. In the event of inclement weather, the work may be extended or rescheduled.
