Regional Energy Resource Council to Meet in Knoxville
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Members of the public interested in the current and future direction of the Tennessee Valley Authority’s energy-related activities, including the 2019 Integrated Resource Plan, are invited to attend an upcoming public working session of the Regional Energy Resource Council in Knoxville, Tennessee, on Wednesday, April 17 and Thursday, April 18.
The 20-member RERC includes representatives from throughout the Tennessee Valley and advises TVA leadership on the management and development of energy-related issues and priorities.
The working session takes place from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. EDT on April 17 and 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. EDT on April 18 at the TVA Knoxville Office Complex, 400 West Summit Hill Drive, Knoxville, Tennessee, 37902.
The RERC will hear opinions and views of citizens during a public session starting at 3:30 p.m. EDT lasting up to one hour, on Wednesday, April 17, 2019. Persons wishing to speak are requested to register at the door between 1:00 p.m. and 3:15 p.m., and will be called on during the public session. Written comments are also invited and may be mailed to the Regional Energy Resource Council, Tennessee Valley Authority, 400 West Summit Hill Drive, WT-9D, Knoxville, TN 37902.
