SPRING CITY, Tenn. – The Tennessee Valley Authority will work with the Rhea County Sheriff’s Department to close one lane of Tennessee Highway 68 traffic over Watts Bar Dam from 8 a.m. EDT on Wednesday, April 1, until 5 p.m. EDT on Thursday, April 2.
The closure will allow TVA to change out lighting over the roadway. The public is advised to be aware of traffic signs and flagging staff. TVA appreciates the public’s understanding. In the event of inclement weather, the work may be extended or rescheduled.
