FLORENCE, Ala. – Traffic across Wilson Dam on South Cox Creek Parkway/North Wilson Dam Road near Florence will be closed to car traffic from 2:30 p.m. CST, Nov.19 until 9:00 a.m. CST, Nov. 23 for the Tennessee River Athletic Club’s annual run scheduled for Nov. 21.

A closure is necessary for the safety of motorists, those setting up the race, pedestrians and runners. TVA appreciates the public’s understanding and asks the public to not cross any posted barricade or caution tape.

Signs will be placed on both sides of the bridge and gates will be in place.
