Traffic Caution on I-75 in Cleveland on April 11

Apr 7, 2021

CLEVELAND, Tenn. — The Tennessee Valley Authority has issued a traffic caution for Sunday, April 11, due to transmission line work affecting I-75, north of the Paul Huff Parkway exit 27.

Between the hours of 7 a.m. and noon, the north and south bound lanes will experience rolling roadblocks as TVA transmission crews pull lines over the roadway.

TVA is coordinating this work with the Tennessee Department of Transportation. Travelers should use TDOT SmartWay and pay attention to overhead signs and roadside message boards for up-to-date traffic information. Traffic controls will be in place, along with support from TVA Police.

TVA is investing over $2 billion in transmission system improvements across the seven-state service area between 2021 and 2025 to build the energy system of the future that will continue to provide, clean, low cost, reliable power.
