KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee Valley Authority Board of Directors will again conduct its scheduled quarterly meeting in a virtual format at 10 a.m. EDT on Thursday, Aug. 27, to comply with COVID-19 guidelines supporting the health and safety of TVA team members, the public and their families during the ongoing pandemic.

Although physical distancing requirements continue to make in-person comments in a traditional listening session impractical, the board encourages interested members of the public to make their opinions and comments heard through written comments. Individuals may submit written comments through the board’s webpage at https://www.tva.com/board no later than 5 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, Aug. 25. Individuals without computer access may contact Wilson Taylor, TVA’s ombudsman, at 865-776-7015. All comments will be presented to the board members prior to their Aug. 27 meeting.
