TVA Board of Directors to Hold In-Person Meeting in Martin, Tenn.

KNOXVILLE – The Tennessee Valley Authority Board of Directors invites the public to join them as they conduct their quarterly business meeting at the University of Tennessee at Martin, Russell Duncan Ballroom (Room 224), 11 Wayne Fisher Drive, in Martin, Tenn., on Wednesday, Aug. 31, at 9 a.m. CT. The meeting will also be webstreamed live at TVA’s

website.

A public listening session will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 30, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. CT at the Russell Duncan Ballroom (Room 224).

The Board meeting agenda, as well as details on signing up to participate in the listening session or submitting written comments, will be posted on the Board’s webpage on Aug. 24 by 5 p.m. ET. The live webstream of the Board meeting will also be available on the Board’s webpage, beginning a few minutes before 9 a.m. CT on Aug. 31.

TVA continues to monitor the ongoing public health and safety concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, no specific COVID-related capacity restrictions or safety precautions are expected for those attending the Martin events in person. If conditions change, any needed precautions will be communicated at a later date. Those feeling ill are encouraged to participate by submitting written comments for the listening session or viewing the live webstream of the Board meeting.
