TVA Board of Directors To Host Listening Session, Meeting in Franklin, Tenn.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The TVA Board of Directors will host meetings to gain insights from the public and conduct necessary business in Franklin, Tennessee, on Wednesday and Thursday, May 8 and 9, 2019.
Board members will participate in a public listening session on Wednesday, May 8, beginning at 3:30 p.m. CT in the Junior Ballroom at the Embassy Suites, 820 Crescent Centre Drive, Franklin, Tennessee 37067. Responding to public input, the Board conducts the listening session the day before its regular business meeting to allow for more time to fully consider the public’s input prior to making decisions.
During the listening session, the public may comment on any agenda item or subject. Registration of speakers at the listening session is required through the board’s webpage at https://www.tva.com/board no later than 5 p.m. ET on Tuesday, May 7. Individuals without computer access may also register by contacting Wilson Taylor, TVA’s ombudsman, at (865) 776-7015.
The board will conduct its quarterly business meeting beginning at 10 a.m. CT on Thursday, May 9, at The WareHouse conference center at 1810 Columbia Avenue, Franklin, Tennessee 37064. Board directors will consider the agenda items listed below.
