KNOXVILLE – The Tennessee Valley Authority Board of Directors will perform its vital oversight function at its scheduled quarterly meeting at 10 a.m. EDT on Thursday, May 7, in a virtual format to comply with COVID-19 guidelines supporting the health and safety of TVA team members, the public and their families.
The board meeting can be viewed live from the board of directors’ webpage at www.tva.com/board. The link will be available a few minutes prior to start time of the meeting.
Although physical distancing requirements make in-person comments in a traditional listening session impractical, the board encourages interested members of the public to make their opinions and comments heard through written comments. Individuals may submit written comments through the board’s webpage at www.tva.com/board no later than 5 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, May 5. Individuals without computer access may contact Wilson Taylor, TVA’s ombudsman, at 865-776-7015. All comments will be presented to the board members prior to their May 7 meeting.

Report of the External Relations Committee
A. TVA Environmental PolicyB. Natural Resources Plan
Report of the Finance, Rates, and Portfolio Committee
A. Commercial Energy Agreements, Programs, and Related Contracts
TVA management will answer questions from the news media following the board meeting.
