TVA Hosts Public Meeting in Bowling Green on Draft Integrated Resource Plan
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The Tennessee Valley Authority will host a public meeting in Bowling Green on Tuesday, March 26, about the newly released draft of its 2019 Integrated Resource Plan, a guide to TVA’s energy planning decisions for the next 20 years, and the associated draft Environmental Impact Statement.
The meeting will be held at the Knicely Conference Center, 2355 Nashville Road, on the campus of Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, from 5–6:30 p.m. CDT.
The IRP and its associated draft EIS will look at how TVA can continue to meet the energy needs of the Valley in a variety of possible future conditions. Currently, TVA is in the draft phase of the study and is holding public meetings to answer questions and gather feedback on the draft results.
The TVA staff will present its recommendations on a final version of the plan to the TVA board of directors in August.
Public comments and questions may be submitted on the project website at www.tva.gov/irp, or by email at [email protected].
