Elkton, KY – The Tennessee Valley Authority is asking for public input on proposed transmission system improvements to continue to serve growing electrical load and increase power reliability in the Logan and Todd County areas of Kentucky.

TVA is proposing to build a switching station from 19.5 to 22.5 miles of single-circuit transmission line. The new line would begin at the new switching station to be located off Old Trenton Road and would extend east to the Cave Springs Switching Station.  The new line would be built using primarily single- and double-pole (H-frame), steel structures centered on new 100-foot-wide right of way.
