JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. —— The Tennessee Valley Authority has issued a traffic caution due to rolling roadblocks on I-26 near exit 32 in Unicoi, Tenn., on Sunday, Sept. 10, as TVA crews will be working on electrical lines that cross the highway. Work is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. EDT.

Rolling roadblocks will slow traffic on I-26 so crews can safely move the lines from existing wood poles to more robust steel poles to help maintain clean, low cost reliable power to the area.

Drivers should use caution and anticipate slower moving traffic on I-26 near the Unicoi Road exit. No lane closures are scheduled. Motorists are advised to follow traffic control personnel and signage instructions during work hours.....
