BOWLING GREEN, KY - The Tennessee Valley Authority has issued a water traffic caution during transmission line work at two locations on the Barren River in Warren County, Kentucky.

Crews will replace lines crossing the Barren River downstream of Wilkerson Island and the Barren River Boat Dock located off Boatlanding Road. Work begins at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14 and continues through Friday, Nov. 22 during daylight hours.

Watercraft operators should avoid the area or take extra precautions. Safety boats will be in place. Everyone in the area should heed warnings of the safety patrol boats and personnel that will be on patrol in the area. Marine channels 13, 16 and 81 will be monitored by the safety boats.
