TVA’s Regional Resource Stewardship Council to Meet at Kentucky Dam Resort
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. ― The Tennessee Valley Authority’s Regional Resource Stewardship Council will meet Wednesday and Thursday, April 3 and 4, at Kentucky Dam Resort to discuss TVA’s river operations activities, a plan to manage Asian Carp, and other various matters, and hear public comments regarding those activities.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held at Kentucky Dam Resort Conference Center, 113 Administrative Drive, Gilbertsville, Kentucky on Wednesday, April 3, from 8:30 to 11:45 a.m. CDT, and Thursday, April 4, from 8:30-11:30 a.m. CDT.
The RRSC will hear opinions and comments from citizens during the public comment session starting at 9:30 a.m. CDT on Thursday, April 4, lasting up to one hour. TVA will provide time limits for public comment once registered.
Persons wishing to speak should register at the door on Thursday between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., CDT, and will be called on during the public comment period. Handout materials should be limited to one printed page.
