TVA’s Regional Resource Stewardship Council to Meet in Knoxville Nov. 5 & 6
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. ― The Tennessee Valley Authority’s Regional Resource Stewardship Council will meet Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 5 and 6, 2018, in Knoxville to discuss TVA’s river operations activities, natural resources program updates, and other various matters, and hear public comments regarding those activities.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held at TVA’s Knoxville West Tower Auditorium, 400 West Summit Hill Drive, Knoxville, Tenn. 37902 on Monday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. to noon, EST, and Tuesday, Nov. 6, from 8:30 a.m. to noon, EST.
The RRSC will hear opinions and comments from citizens during the public comment session starting at 9:30 a.m., EST on Tuesday, Nov. 6, lasting up to one hour. TVA will provide time limits for public comment once registered.
Persons wishing to speak should register at the door on Tuesday between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m., EST, and will be called on during the public comment period. Handout materials should be limited to one printed page. Written comments may be sent to the RRSC at any time through TVA’s website at www.tva.com/rrsc or by mail to the Regional Resource Stewardship Council, Tennessee Valley Authority, 400 West Summit Hill Drive, WT9D, Knoxville, Tennessee 37902.
