Grant Dudley

Grant Dudley

Grant is part of TVA’s Communications team specializing in strategic content distribution. Before coming to TVA, the Georgia native produced shows at CNN and Discovery and served as digital managing editor at Food Network, HGTV, and Southern Living magazine. Grant enjoys traveling (with only four more states left to visit!), antiquing and time with family.

Susan Erenchlou

Susan Ehrenclou

Susan Ehrenclou tells the stories of the people who protect TVA's natural resources. She earned degrees in environmental studies, geography, writing and education. Along the way, she monitored water quality and endangered species, taught elementary students, published science curricula and articles, and co-authored Geology of the Ice Age National Trail. Susan and her family live in Knoxville, Tennessee, where they explore the outdoors, paddleboard, and restore native plants on their land.

Pat Ezzell

Pat Ezzell

Patricia Bernard Ezzell serves as the Tennessee Valley Authority’s resident expert regarding the agency's history. She has authored several articles and two books on TVA history:  TVA Photography: Thirty Years of Life in the Tennessee Valley and TVA Photography, 1963-2008:  Challenges and Changes in the Tennessee Valley. She also co-hosts Pat & Ashley's Excellent Adventure, a social media and video series highlighting the TVA region. She is married to Tim Ezzell and they have two children, Will and Sophie, and two rescued pets, D-Day and Jenga.

Shawn Foucher

Shawn Foucher

As a brand journalism editor at TVA, Shawn Foucher collaborates with a talented team of camera-carrying writers to craft stories that spotlight the remarkable people who live, work and play in the Valley region. Outside work, you’ll find him gardening, scuba diving or traveling with his wife and two daughters and their three pups, Winston, Lulu and Sally.

Meredith Garrett is a field writer for TVA by day and a poet by night. Blending a passion for writing, photography and connection with folks across the Valley, Meredith seeks to bring stories to life on the page. Meredith lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with their wife and greyhounds.

Susan Lauver

Susan Lauver

Susan Lauver has had the privilege of telling the TVA story for more than four decades. A former journalist, she shares with the public TVA's work in energy, the environment, and economic development, and TVA's commitment to making life better in the Valley region. Growing up in East Tennessee, Susan's first memories of family vacations include camping trips at TVA's Watts Bar Lake. She and her husband David live in Farragut, Tennessee, and have a son and daughter and two rescue cats.

Heather Mullinix

Heather Mullinix

Heather Mullinix, web content strategist, helps TVA's experts share their work on TVA.com. She spent more than 20 years in community journalism, telling the stories important to her neighbors. After work, she enjoys exploring the region's trails and rivers.

Bill Sitton

Bill Sitton

Bill Sitton has worked to tell TVA’s story for more than a decade. He has provided communications at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, in power operations and for natural resources. Bill holds a degree in journalism from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. When not working, he spends time enjoying the TVA lakes around Knoxville, Tennessee.

Matthew Teague

Matthew Teague

Matthew Teague writes scripts, speeches, and stories for TVA. He is co-author with Mark Bowden of The Steal for the Atlantic Monthly Press, is a contributor to National Geographic, and executive producer of Our Friend, a feature film that premiered in 2021.

Jennifer Thelen

Jennifer Thelen

Jennifer Thelen's articles and photos covering energy and innovation have taken her from deep inside Cherokee Dam to high above the coal yard at Kingston Fossil Plant. She has inspected transmission lines with a local power company in Mississippi and installed energy-saving gadgets with a sculptor in Middle Tennessee. Jennifer has worked at daily newspapers in the Midwest and California, most recently the San Francisco Chronicle. She enjoys nature, games, meditation and cooking food grown near her home in north Georgia.

Abdiel Vallejo-Lopez

Abdiel Vallejo-Lopez

Abdiel Vallejo-Lopez is TVA's brand writer of economic impact.  Before joining TVA, Abdiel covered economic development stories for the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce. He received his bachelor's in Humanities from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a master's in writing from Savannah College of Art and Design in Atlanta.

After a 15-year news career with Gannett, the New York Times Co., and SNG, she transitioned into brand journalism and content marketing, sharing authentic stories of organizations that make a difference. In her free time, Cheryl immerses herself in the experience of travel and travel photography.

Sarah Williams

Sarah Williams, TVA writer, covers topics from recreation to history to community. She recently graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. Outside of work, she enjoys playing with her dog and camping.
