How TVA Supports Water Recreation
TVA helps people have a fun day on the water. During the summer, TVA keeps more water in the lakes. This makes it easier to boat and fish.
TVA also releases water on a set schedule to allow for other types of boating, like whitewater rafting!
TVA helps keep the rivers healthy for fishing by carefully managing how much water is released. It also manages plants that grow in reservoirs and helps put oxygen into the water.
