Equal Employment Opportunity Policy
TVA provides equal opportunity in employment to all employees and applicants; and prohibits discrimination because of race, color, religion, sex (i.e. pregnancy, childbirth, and other related medical conditions), national origin, age (40 and over), mental and/or physical disability, genetic information, and reprisal. You must consult with an EEO counselor prior to filing a complaint in order to try to informally resolve the matter. You must initiate contact with a counselor within 45 calendar days of the date of the matter alleged to be discriminatory or, in the case of a personnel action, within 45 calendar days of the effective date of the action.
