Bryan Williams
Senior Vice President, Generation Projects & Fleet Services
Bryan Williams is the senior vice president of Generation Projects & Fleet Services, responsible for safely executing major construction and demolition projects, providing craft labor resources, technical services and compliance support that enable daily plant operations. These activities encompass all phases of project execution, construction management, maintenance and modification.
Prior to his current role, Williams served as the vice president of Generation Services, a business unit responsible for providing engineering, outage execution and fleet programmatic functions for natural gas, hydropower and coal-fired generation across the Valley region. He previously served as vice president of Generation Projects and Shop Services, responsible for leading the Power Service Shops, TVA’s in-house fabrication and repair organization, and overseeing large, high-risk construction and refurbishment projects.
Williams has held leadership roles at TVA for more than 21 years, including director of Transmission Engineering and Construction, general manager of Partner Alliance and Support, senior project manager for large-scale clean air projects and senior system engineer at Bull Run Fossil Plant. Under his leadership, organizations consistently experience high employee engagement, accountability and performance.
Williams is executive sponsor for TVA’s Tri-Lateral Safety Alliance, whose overall goal is to speak with one voice on safety, an alliance that reflects TVA’s commitment to safety as a core value. His additional achievements include a nomination for TVA’s Engineer of the Year award, a TVA Environmental Excellence award, and an award from the Electric Power Research Institute for innovation in reducing particulate emissions at multiple plant sites. He recently completed the National Academy for Nuclear Training Reactor Technology Course for utility executives at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Williams serves on the board for Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy, Helmets to Hardhats organization and the Construction Industry Institute.
Williams holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Chattanooga. He and his wife, Sharon, reside in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
