Colbert Combustion Turbine Plant

The Colbert Combustion Turbine Plant is on the same reservation as the Colbert Fossil plant in Tuscumbia, Ala. The site features eight simple-cycle General Electric combustion turbines with a total net summer generating capacity of 392 MW. The dual-fuel machines can be operated on either natural gas or low-sulfur diesel fuel.

Commissioned in 1972, the Colbert CT Site has a long tradition of providing reliable power to meet TVA's peak demands.
