Disposal of Yellow Creek Industrial Park Properties

On May 24, 2016, the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) completed a final environmental assessment and issued a finding of no significant impact for the proposed transfer of about 174-acres of Yellow Creek Port properties to the State of Mississippi for economic development purposes. The property is on Pickwick Reservoir at the Tennessee-Tombigbee River mile 448 in Tishomingo County, MS. This proposal is consistent with TVA’s commitment to economic development and land management policies.

An Environmental Assessment evaluates the potential environmental impacts of the proposed transfer. The public comment period on the draft environmental assessment closed March 31, 2016.
