Economic Development Grant Proposal for Proposed Industrial Site Purchase and Tree Clearing

On March 19, 2018, TVA completed an environmental assessment (EA) and issued a finding of no significant impact (FONSI) for a proposed economic development grant through TVA InvestPrep™ to Smith County, Tennessee.  With the grant, Smith County would purchase approximately 119-acre tract of land and clear approximately 8.25 acres of mixed-deciduous forest within that tract, for use as a proposed industrial site in Gordonsville, Smith County, Tennessee.
